Wow! Impressive magazine! Congratulations, Jim, for your contribution to
it. (I, for one, liked the bosque article by Nicholas Carman.
Impressionistic and scattered, yes, but poetic, too.)

Wonderful read, I couldn't put it down. The writing was head and shoulders
above anything in the popular cycling press, as I read I kept thinking of
it as literary bicycle magazine, there was actual thought and reflection in
the articles and the photography. It reminded me of Peltenon and

I'm not easily impressed by writing or photos, but the photos in this
collection are among the best I've seen in a bike publication and many
are National Geographic quality. Haven't read it, just skimmed the

Patrick: I can only speculate about the tire photo: perhaps the author and
editor think the image of a 26x4.8 Big Fat Larry tire on a 100mm wide Clown

Good stuff. You guys obviously put a lot of work into this. The photos
are great, sort of a Nat Geo for biking. Jim mentions the Rivendell
Atlantis in his piece on bike touring, so there is Rivendell content. Look
forward to enjoying the other articles.
