Planning on a Summer trip June 27th through July 16th and was planning on
these destinations, Siskiyou Wilderness, PDX and Bay Area for the Riv
rally. I wasn't planning on going that far North on this vacation but then
things change.

It's a big planet out there, and once you adapt to living out of panniers,
freedom expands to consume the available funds. A lot can change, and 2 or
3 weeks of vacation time becomes a serious constraint.
