Joe:
My beloved San Marcos appears to be the same blue (which is stunning) so I
can't argue with the choice and the savings.
However, I am a bit sad not to see a candy apple and cream Cheviot. I will
put it on my wish list for myself if I win the lottery :)
I look forward to seeing the

Excited to see photos of your new Cheviot! Yes, my older green Cheviot has the

Happy New Year!

Joe,
I have to say keeping it blue and spending the savings on nice parts seems to
me an excellent choice.
Good decision.

When I got there, there was a Betty Foy in the stand that Mark was refreshing
for a neighbor. He was shellacking the twine on the kickstand, which is as

Joe, I couldn't agree more regarding the Riv Folk. I always enjoy the
conversation no matter who picks up the phone. I envy your proximity to Riv
HQ. In spite of being roughly 3,000 miles away a visit is most definitely
on my to-do list. Congrats on the new Cheviot. I look forward to seeing
Alas the red was not to be. After some consultation with Will about how dang
good the blue looks - it's miles more impressive than pics on the site reveal -
I decided to spend the paint money on shiney new silver bits. As soon as my
wheels show up I'll get it all built up and show it off. It's
Right on Joe. I made it to HQ this past summer and it was fantastic. I was a
bit star struck myself standing there talking to Grant about baseball and life.
That was a Friday, when I firs t got into town. When I came back on Saturday to
take one of their bikes for a ride at Shell Ridge, it
It is indeed a unique company, more so these days. I'm on the other side of
the country, but I confess to ordering by phone vs. website over the years,
just for the always pleasant interaction with whoever happens to take my
order. Is this not the candy apple red Chev chariut? No sneak pics?!
Chris,
I understand, no need to ride the canyon just yet, we could ride from the
Starbucks on Glenoaks Blvd along Kennth to Mountain, up Verdugo to the Rose
Bowl or loop over to La Tuna Canyon back down to the Star Bucks, I'm sure
your Univega would work OK. There is some climbing but nothing

I'm not usually a huge fan of green bikes but that metallic shade is
sharp! Enjoy it.

Hugh,
A ride through the canyon sounds great. I will probably have to wait till I

Hi Chris, No it was a torrent of rain! I wish I could have though, in the
future. I grew up in Mendocino County and the trails and camping IMO are
some of the best. Look forward to seeing your choice.

Hi Chris,
I flew up November 30th form Burbank on a stormy day, my wife and I rode
the Hilsen, Hillborne and Betty Foy and a couple others, the Riv crew were
great, Rich educated me on their wheels and Keven was his usual helpful
self. I ordered a AAH with custom color and Brian just sent me
Nice bike, Hugh
The AHH sure was a fun bike to ride. Did you test ride on the trail just down
the street? The Iron Horse trail?
