I love the clearcoat. Need to post a couple new photos, as I have
rotated (forward) and lowered the bars a bit, switched backnto my
Brooks finesse saddle, and swapped pedals. I also had a good fitting
done locally, and I we changed the saddle height a bit. Fits great.
My height is a tad over 5' 8
Wow , that clearcoat is nice. May I ask what your saddle height is ?

You must not like orange. :^) Because that one on eBay right now is a 58, and

Rambouillet and the Road Standard feel very similar, very comfortable
and predictable bikes. The builds on the three bikes are quite
different, so sort of unfair to compare, but the Roadeo feels the
lightest and the quickest. It

exactly. the ahh has a longer wheelbase than the ram and is the
perfect "country bike". the ram is close. i ride mostly on paved roads

Yeah, I just don'
Probably not.
Mark at Rivendell told me the following in Spring of 2007: "The Waterford AHH
frame is just a little bit lighter than the Toyo Rambouillet frame."
Of course, my Waterford AHH bike is heavier than my Rambouillet, because the
AHH's capabilities invite beefier wheels and mini-racks

I would ask that heavier be defined. What is the difference 1lb
2lbs? Is it even significant?
Much of the race feel would be in fit, lighter wheels, higher air
pressures or even just a set of drifters.
I guess the real question is.. will the geometry of the Roadeo make
the ride feel differently.
ken,
i currently have a 59cm roadeo. i have owned a 59cm romulus and a 60cm
ram. i liked all the framesets and the handling was typical "riv". the
"rom" had a heavy feeling to it. the ram felt very lively to me. the
roadeo reminds of the ram but just a hair quicker, but still,
extremely stable. i r
According to one member of our club (he may chime in here), the Roadeo
he has now is built lighter than the Ram he once owned. I believe
that Homer would be heavier than either.

Are you sure that the Roadeo has lighter tubing? I thought at some point
the discussion was that they both are built with 8-5-8 maintubes. Not
trying to hijack the conversation, but I remember it was a discussion at one
point.

Definitely get a Roadeo. It's a great bike with lighter tubing than
the AHH. If you know you won't be carrying much load, it will do what
you're looking for in an exemplary fashion. The Roadeo head angle for
a 59 is 1 degree steeper than the AHH, and the top tube is about the
same (58 vs 58.2), so
rather than geting a new bike, sounds like you need to either
experiment more to get comfortable on your bike and/or work with a
good bike fitter. spending a couple $thousand without confidence in
your fit preference and contact points does not make too much sense to
me. on the other hand, if you h
