@ Patrick. Pemmican stores indefinitely if prepared properly (jerky dry enough, tallow rendered properly, proportions and mixed properly), though I'm not sure if that's been tested in hot desert country. You likely need to keep it solid for shelf stability at warmer temps. @ Drew: I eat
