Hey Damian, You don't need any extra parts. On my Ram, I moved the Silvers from the bar ends to the downtube without any problem. The only difference (as far as I can tell) between the DT version and the BE version is in the round washer with the square hole. The DT specific version has a tabbe

On a related topic, I just installed silver bar end shifters on my Blériot (pix to come). My installation kit came with four square hole washers: two with tabs and two without. The instructions only showed the tabbed washers and indicated that the tabs should point into the pods. However they
