About as low tech as you can get, but would a rubber band work? Just wrap the rubber band over the top of the splats and below your shoe.Not elegant, not permanent, but may give you some extended life... I got rid of my splats a while back because they didn't play nice w/ my flat soled shoes e

I wear minimalist shoes (no heel, among other things). I had my gators made so the strap goes under my heel inside my shoes. No wear. I run and bike in them (they have a splat-like tongue on them). Anyway, if you attach this strap or a new strap (with elastic as part of it ideally) an inch or so
