Sorry to drag up a post from four years ago. I was thinking about trying
out a fork crown canti-hanger + mini front rack setup and searching the
archives brought up your post with a link to a pic of your Bombadil. Nice
to see you got it to work, and it doesn't look like it produced

No, this is not a good application for a Sheldon nut. The threaded post on the
rack is too long. You'd need to cut it down and possibly would need to thread
it further as well

When you get this installed, can you post pictures, i'm thinking about
switching from a headset mounted hanger to a fork crown one but i'm
worried about clearance at the crown due to all the other things i
have
