Thank you Garth for enlightening me on this world of biking. I might have
seen such events on the TV, but had no idea at some point the those bikes
had the invert upright frame design. Seems like now a days they just have
super long seat post.

Such design was in vogue in the 80's/90's. That's a track bike,
obviously, and here is road TT bike ridden by 5 time TDF Champ Miguel
Indurain, A Pinarello ridden in 1992. He's 6'2 .
