I'm about to replace the old Suntour XC front derailleur on my bike because
one of the limit screws is stripped. Obviously that's not ideal, but maybe
there's a way to tap it ? If so, you can have it once It comes off the
bike.

Boulder has some XC Pro ones on sale. They just have 31.8, but they are
incredibly nicely finished. Might not be the right version you need, but
though I'd pass this along.

I have a pretty good condition Superbe Pro Double FD if you don't need it
for a triple crank.
