That's a very generous suspicion, which I do not deserve...no, I never checked that on that particular hub, in part because I didn't realize that (some) PW axle ends are detachable at the time I got the wheel. It's an old 3-piece hub (chromed steel body, aluminum flanges), so I suspect the axle

I find the Brevets appetizing (how many holes?), but first: Are you sure you want to mount a BMX freewheel on a Phil hub? Have you ever tried it? For many years now, I have had a 700c wheel I bought off eBay: Phil Wood freewheel hub, MA2 rim, WI ENO 18T freewheel. I got it cheap, because the
