That is why I am scared to buy bikes from Clist (if this person bought it off Clist). You can never tell if its stolen or not without the seller producing the original purchase receipt for the bike. Now, this isn't mentioned in this case, and hopefully won't happen, but: What I really don't get

I didn't get the impression that the poster intended to SELL the bike to the owner. I thought the poster intended to RETURN the bike to the owner. If it was mine, I'd give the poster a generous reward-- but I wouldn't have to give the poster anything, since I already own my bike. On Sat, Sep 13,
