Some of the people building Randos, Periera, J. P. Weigle, and Dan Polito, have been squeezing tail lights into old chassis. It may be doable. One problem with the head light is the better ones at least have complex mirrors which focus the light properly. It may be hard to transfer. On Jan 7,

You could probably do it on a headlight. Wouldn't be as smooth looking as a tail light. And probably more surgery involved. Wouldn't be shocked if an E6 or similar would work better than an LED. More a normal reflector pattern. There is a Curt Goodrich locally that has a custom done tail
