[RBW] Replacement chainrings

I run a 44t outer on my XD double which needs replacing and RBW no longer carries them. Recommendations for sources? Has anyone tried a Surly steel chainring for 2x or 3x use? I wonder how front shifting would work. Thx all in advance. Art Lewy Seattle Green Ramb -- You received this

Vuelta has a good selection, including 44 tooth for $25: http://www.vueltausa.com/components/chainrings/se-flat-chainrings/se-chain-ring-110mm-34-60t-1.html I've never priced Surly's steel rings but since I spend most of my time on one ring that it would make sense. May try one next time.
