The Rivet Pearl is closest to a B17 width-wise. The Independence is closer to a Pro in the Brooks line. My experience is that the Pearl is more stable, holds it’s shape better, and is less likely to sag the the B17. This may be due both to the thicker leather and the “fender tie” that preven
