I have a 1x9 drivetrain on my AHH. 40t up front and an old ultegra 11-28 cassette in back. I really like it. Works great on the roads and trails around Philly. But I'm a pretty lazy shifter, so even when I had a FD, I never used it. I also highly recommend the narrow/wide 1x chainrings from Wolf

Oh, I am all ready to talk about 1X, even though my 1X is really a 1X with a granny for hypothetical but so far never experienced tough situations. I mean the 42/28 X 14-15-16-17-18-19-20-22-24-28 on my Matthews custom dirt road bike. This gives me a high of 86 gi, a low on the 42 of 43 gi, with a

Was wondering if anyone here has tried this kind of set up on one of Riv's more roadish bikes? I have a Soma San Marcos with the typical 2 chain rings and was kind of thinking of trying a 1X. I had a Surly Krampus with a 1X. If you do have this set up what are your components and do you like
