Eunice,
Thanks. I’m encouraged that Maggie is using a ‘DoggyRide’ trailer which is
what I’m pondering.

Shoji,
Thanks, I’m mainly going to use it on my commute to work. I’m fortunate that it
is ~6 miles and on quiet streets and a paved trail. I’m lucky that I can devote
the Saluki to this and keep free my custom from this task.

I have a Surly trailer that could carry a mastiff or two. The pivot point is
set well below the axle, so the trailer's effect handling is minimal. And the
pivot support distributes any stresses to both sides of the rear axle, which
rules. The only tradeoff is weight, it's heavy as sin, but a
I'm exploring the use of a dog trailer so I can take our new pup to work
with me.
I'll use my Saluki if I do this.
I'm interested of others have experience towing trailers with their Riv's.
I'm thinking a Doggyride trailer looks like a good choice.
Thanks,
JimD

I have used trailers for the last twenty years in some form or another. My
current rig is my Sam pulling a Burley Travoy. This trailer is light and
even when loaded isn't a problem. I love trailers and if I had a dog I
would do the same thing as you. Have fun.
