I vastly prefer tubeless to tubes, but 2-3 ounces in tubes and 3-4 ounces in
60mm 700c tubeless, and yes, I think the smallest orange seal is 4 ounces. One
thing to think about with sealant and tubes is getting the biggest tube you can
fit, that way there's less stretching. Less stretched tubes

You won’t be starting fresh every time. I live in Southern California and
refresh sealant every 4-6 months, but even that isn’t starting over, you just
put a little more sealant in.
To get started, at a minimum you’ll need tubeless valve stems and sealant. You
may also need tape for your rims
The bike I ride 85% of the time these days is my roscoe bubbe mtn step thru
with a crust Clydesdale fork and a kid seat on the back. So 85% of the time I
am mostly riding to run errands and go the beach.
