I had a large wald basket on my gen 1 Fargo, but I added and customized the struts. It ended up being being very sturdy. I used double opposing struts underneath for triangulation, and the rear upper rail had struts down to the upper bottle mounts on the rear of the fork. A double diving

If my memory is correct, the arms are a very non-sturdy feeling aluminum. The one I had was used and more wobbly than I like. I never put much weight on it, so it was fine, but it was eventually replaced. I think cetmas are steel, I've never had one though. -- You received this message
