I used some 3M tape meant for wrapping car hoods and fenders for protection. I cut it into pieces that fit around the tubes of my bike. I primarily wrapped the main triangle of one bike to keep frame bags from killing the paint. This tape applies fairly easily and seems to last without fading.  I b
