The NWS advised "gusts to 60" so I had to go out; just 11 1/2 miles to PO, grocery store and back, but it was something, 'specially on the Fargo with its fat tires and, currently, big, boxy Dutch panniers. I took it because it has those derailleur thingies. On the way back, down a hill that, in a calm, will let you coast at 20 mph, I was in the 36X26 at 8-10 mph directly into the wind.
Anyway, rather fun with the option of gears but I am glad that even for ABQ, this sort of wind is rather rare.
