I emailed that one to Mark G figuring he could repair the tube - I do not
need any bikes though

Here is a 52 but needs a repair of the frame. Would be fun for the right
project. I had someone in Portland repair/replace a top tube for $200.

IMO that is a good price for the bike. No affiliations, blah, blah.

I agree that we probably won't be seeing a new QB iteration soon (excluding the
Blue Lug project). It would be cool to see a Quickbeam/Simpleone mixte-- maybe
the QuickMix?
I do wonder if you could invert the QB's angled dropout so you could use it as
a derailer bike or single speed without lo
I vaugly recall mention of working on a drop out for bikelug. When I saw that I
did not take it to imply another iteration of the QB/SO was in the offing.
For a long time there was a sticky thread at the top of this list regarding

Chris this sounds familiar. I also made an offer with no response. After a
message he did offer to meet in the middle regarding price so I think I came
away pretty good considering the "near new" description and less than 50 miles.
I guess we will see when it arrives Thursday.

I recently bought a 2004 green Quickbeam off of eBay and can't help but to
think that this seller used my purchase as a benchmark for his asking price
which happens to be to the dollar what I paid for it. I had sent in an
offer for a small discount off and the seller ignored my offer so I bit t
I think they are. I couldn't find the post on it. IIRC it was only in
smaller sized frames.

I was under the impression that Riv is doing a single speed bike in
collaboration with Blue Lug - if memory serves it should be coming sometime

I like mine a lot, but I doubt RBW will do another edition. The way I remember
it they were discounted out les than a year after starting to accept pre
orders. I can only presume that after a brief flurry of immediate sales they
just didn't sell. Great bikes but apparently a small niche market w
Ive always thought the next iteration should be "The QuickOne". Maybe the
"SingleBeam". I recall the SimpleOne was cleared out toward the end and it was
modestly priced then. A fellow had one in town here and it was a great deep
green colour. He said it was a great bike.

The name disappeared because of some legal bother with Tolkein folks. This is
also why RBW will build you a Leh Go Less, but doesn't use (name redacted) on
the website.

Doing a search on Cyclofiend, I find that the Silver QB was the last of run
(2009) by Panasonic in Japan. The SimpleOne was a Taiwan built. I'm not sure
if this could or should increase my enthusiasm.
