[Rcom-l] deploying RDCOM and R

I have implemented an application that uses R and R DCOM. One of the 
major problems that arose is the installation, since the user might have 
an old version of R or sometimes a newer version that required by my r 
packages. I'm wondering if it is possible to ship into my application 
installer the RDCOM and a the R.dll rather than a entire R installation. 
The goal is to install the required R version and RDCOM to avoid 
colliding with the existing R installation. Sorry if I'm posting into 
the wrong list.
