Chris,
You can have ana ctual artillery piece, like the Flak 88 or
Navarone gun. Or just like the Germans, use a tank turret. My Bunker
Comet was fielded in that spirit when the hull was out of order for
the fall battle that you attended.

I'm sure that I can either drop you a system off the next time we nip
down to a\ battle in essex or I can find out how much it would cost to
post it to you.
Failing that, technobots do a dirt cheap 3 channel 40MHz system for
about 40 quid.

I don't have £150 to spend on one anyway at the moment. And even if i
had that money I wouldn't buy it.I don't need 4 channels unless i was
to buy a c6c where the lower price makes it worth it

I paid £150 for a 40MHz Futaba 4 channel with servos and Rx about six
years back. I'd expect to be paying a lot less for a similar system
now the market has a lot of flashy computerised Tx's available.

Here is an idea for an artillery piece - the M162 towed Vulcan
Its basically a box on top of a small trailer with a 20mm vulcan
cannon. Simply mount scale gun barrels around the marker barrel for it
to look like a rotary cannon. it has a huge ammo box that the bottle
will fit in and since you onl

A little more progress for me, I removed half the spring/arm/wheel
assemblies that where 5mm and ground them back with a grinder to match the
other half which where 4.5mm. The profile of these springs has basically
become a D shape.
Charged up 2 parallel sets of Nicads and drove it around for ju
they are field artillery, and are covered by the rules:

"any fixed or movable piece of artillery"
"must be 1/6 scale"
"10 shot magazine, semi-auto"
how bunker like emplacements and their operating crew (and thus
destroying the crew) would work is not covered
