I was recently contacted by a producer at the Canadian Discovery Channel
who would like to do a "short doc" on R/C tank combat sometime in the
next 6 months. Naturally, as a Canadian crew they are interested in
filming some of their countrymen in the hobby. So, if you're Canadian

I weighed the KV-2 hull which included the drive train, motors, and front
sprockets/shafts yesterday. It weighed in at 75lbs. Add 26lbs. for
batteries, 15lbs. for the turret and innards, another 26lbs. for tracks, and
like another 15lbs. for wheels/hardware should put it up in the 150lb.
range.
I've never weight the SU100. I pick the right time to go Florida. No snow to
shovel. Until I get home Christmas Eve. It's 1/6 scale I think. around 40" long.

George awesome work!
The Ariete I'm building has a 1" square tube frame and the hull will
be gauge steel (5/32"). Guessimation completed beast will be around
the 200lb mark.

I use all my standard woodworking tools including my table saw to cut it.
I would guess that you would want to use the higher speed. The faster
you make the cut, the less it will melt. The longer the plastic is exposed
to the hot blade, the more it will melt. The only time I've had any issues
