In that case you can still mount them under the hull, instead of the
axels passing through the hull make a frame for the underside which
would support the pivot point, same set up, just under the hull.
I cant see torsion bars working if the are not inline with the pivot
point.

for those with 1/4" torsion bars, how did you mount the torsion bars to the
underside of the tank but allow them to pivot freely on the one end?
I think i'm going to have the guy around the corner wield small 1/8" flat
stock to the sides of the one end with holes in them, this way i can bolt
Hi Chris,
Myself and Garnet picked up 4 powered wheelchairs for dirt cheap,
like $25CDN each so I am adapting the motor controller & joystick to
run the M01 24v motors. Cheapest, most robust ESC I've ever seen. I'll
post pictures when complete.
Cheers,
Fred

Your right,I'm embarased to say. I drew up a few plans to Tigers,
Abrams, C-60s ., all at 3 ft. Some came out close to 1:8 scale,
but the Sherman did end up closer to 1:6. Next time I won't post facts
when I'm half asleep.
And thanks for the web site, Derek. I'm sure I can find something
useful
Acording to my figures a 1/6th sherman hull should be about 38" - a
1/8th hull would be about 27" long. . .
