You can either use a separate 6v battery pack, or you can get/make an
electronic voltage regulator kit to convert 18v to 6v.
I think the experienced tankers all recommend a separate battery pack to remove
the chance of interference from the motors through the control electrical
system.

You can buy a small AA battery holder from Radio Shack or Frys or someplace
similar. If you buy one that holds 4 batteries, that is 1.5V in series
which gets you to that magic 6V number (1.5V x 4 = 6V).

I did not know that you could get those, that would probably be the
best way for me to go. However I don't know how much the C6C uses for
power, so I will probably go with D batteries. Even if AA batteries
are sufficient, D batteries would just last longer.
Also for wheels I was thinking of wood
Interesting choice. Any luck finding plans? Rumor has it that there are 2
already in production. Good luck. Are you building it 1/6 or to the 3 foot rule?

Interesting choice - although I think you'll need some very neat
engineering to get a paintball gun into a turret that small!

Yes, but I hear the builders are a pair of crazy brothers who should not be
followed into battle under any circumstances !

I was thinking about using a paintball pistol. I found one that uses a
20 round and a 10 round magazine and a 12-gram CO2 cartridge. It also
has barrel threads, for an extended barrel. The 20 round magazine goes
out to the end of the extended barrel, so i am not for certain i am
going with that
O and that paintball pistol also has a hopper adapter and an option
for a remote line for a separate tank
