Yeah I'm using double sided timing belts as tracks.
They are super expensive though.
I have made provision for the inside track guides on the road wheels.
Due to the nature of these timing belts I’m going to run them first
without the track guides and see if I need to fit them. The timing
belts are
I have completed the suspention and road wheels. Put it together to
see what it looks like. Suspention works well can hold my 90kg bag of
bones so i think it will work. I may have to soften up the tortion
springs a little. I sent my motors into the the machine shop to fit
new sprockets as the USA o
Boy I'd like to have their tank building budget. :-)

One of your biggest problems and price(hobby shop prices) problems too
is you are going to require two sets of steering systems perfectly
aligned. Another problem is going to be the gearboxes you will need at
least 3-4 of them with slip traction control. By the time you finish
building your striker

The timing belts I'm using are double sided so I basicaly have tracks
on both sides of the timing belt.

ewing my inventory (belt and wheel size) I deduced
that I was now in for a 1/6 scale tank. M1A1 here we come.
My question is this: What is good motor to place in a 1/6 scale tank?
I somehow dont think a 12v drill is going to do the trick.
