once fall arrives and it's too cold to use fiberglass resin in the garage i
normally don't go back out there (unless i need the gas jugs or the snow
blower) until spring.

the other day i went out to get the snow blower and as i entered to
doorway a few things looked out of place but since i'm not out there that
often
this time of year, i didn't too much of it, but as i took a few steps to the
snow blower, things to my right didn't look right at all.

on the radial arm saw table top is the upper half of the tiger (upside
down) where i was working on sanding off the old paint to give it some
fiberglass and resin. on the back side of the table top (behind the back stop)
was
were i left two small bags of grass seed but now i only saw part of one
and trashed seed all over.

it looks as if i have (at the very least) a mouse, or maybe a field rat.
there were droppings all over the place. i didn't touch anything as i didn't
want my scent to be on anything. this afternoon i'll be going out to the
store and getting some boxes of poison food and a set of traps. i'll be
placing some of it on the saw's table top as i expect it to be back up there
feeding again.

i haven't checked for any damage yet to anything from chewing/nawling, i'll
do that after i take care of the critter(s) at hand.

my other concern is, i have my car and truck out there and i know they love
to live in vehicles, so i'll set some food and traps in them too.

hopefully it'll just be a matter of taking out the dead (unwanted help),
and cleaning things up without having to do any damage repair

Chris
