The 3 cell are easier to charge in the field. Are they using 4 5amp batteries?
i installed suspension on chassis today. I have to wait for it to warm up to
use ABS glue.

LiFePo4 (aka LiFe) batteries are as rugged (in my experience) as lead acid/ gel
cell batteries without as significant a weight penalty.

Will,
I found out with the RC Commission Sherman tank that 5000mAh LiPo batteries
have a fairly short life on the battlefield. I had to revert to the 12V 20Ahr
batteries (lead acid). I’m hearing that higher mAhr batteries are available in
LiPo form
Would love to hear about your build up of
A good one! Thanks

Thanks for the reply, three screws might help. I also wonder if too much force
in one area from the drive sprocket might be an issue too. Maybe have a bit of
drive sprocket on each side of the tread along with the centre.

Hey Derek,
I know I ain't built nothin' yet... But the bean counter in me tells me that
the final cost with ext. warranty comes to 357 buckaroonies!! Sounds abit

Probably never. Too many people look for scape-goats when they ruin

Yes. A normal 12V SLA battery should never drop below 11V.
2: Dose it harm a SLA battery to only recieve a partialy charge?
No.
3: If over charging a SLA battery occurs, how long would it take
before damage occurs?
Depends on h

You could get 24v at 22ah, or 12v at 44ah.

Or you could get 6V @ 48AH if you wire all 4 of them in parallel. 24V @12AH
is wiring all of them in series.

Most people run with either (2) 18Ah 12v batteries in series or (2) 26Ah
12v batteries in series when using 24v scooter motors.

Look at the sealed lead acid batteries on the same site. To answer your
questions, no and no.

You would want the batteries powering the tank to be one bank of
batteries that both motors can draw from. If each motor has its own,
you could run out of juice on one side, which might be funny to watch
:)

This is just a terminal threaded to fit an metric M6 screw. There is no "M6
insert terminal". A local hardware store should be able to supply you with
those screws.
