[rdiff-backup-users] Restoring only permissions?

Some evil process went and did a chown -R user:user / on a server, and I am trying to figure out if there is a way to pull the permissions out of rdiff-backup to fix this, without needing to restore everything? I tried to parse some of the meta-files but found that it was not that straight
