[rdiff-backup-users] Permissions error when backing up?

Hi Andrew, Thank you for the reply Your suggestion worked like a charm. It was in fact this issue where cygwin was not running as an admin user. I've also subsequently tested the recent rdiffbackup's standalone exe which works on my vista too. You guys are great. Thanks for the support

I have backed-up a user home directory over time. I now need to restore one (corrupted) subdirectory to the way it was a few days ago. All the include/exclude instructions I can find only pertain to backup, not restore. Isn't there a way to restore one small subdirectory with-out
