Per subject. I'm able to access this file normally via the local
filesystem, and I have the same exception in the same place when trying
to run --check-destination-dir against a different destination location.
This is with Linux 2.6 on both ends; the NFS mount options are
rw,hard,intr,acl.
for this one we'll probably need strace output... suitably trimmed to show
what it's trying to do with the problem file and possibly surrounding
directory.
can you reproduce with a small test case?
what rdiff-backup version? there have been some nfs-related fixes... in
1.0.3 for example.
