Hi Allan,
Good idea bypassing the old charge controller. I'll pass it on to our
customer.
...and good memory. The Ananda people did the PV industry a real service by
making the first UL listed power center.
...and best wishes for a wonderful new year. Here's hoping Obama's $150

HI all and Ron
In my previous post I said the inverter FET board, I am wrong, it would have to
be the AC board or the generator is running out of frequency spec.
Place a load on the generator, so it runs in power note idle, use your meter to
measure the generator frequency, set the inverter
I see on our first website that actually listed products, in 1998 we were
selling Astropower, Siemens, and Solarex among others.
Of the six brands we listed then, only two are still around (at least under
the same name).
Interesting to note that we were selling 75 watt panels (Siemens SP75)
Email me off-list for a powerpoint presentation (4.2 GB) with lots of ways
to find info on the Web. The ppt was given at an IEEE meeting by a research
specialist.

370AH @ C/20 and weighs 100lbs.
Under the floor scrubber they

Hi Travis,
I have had great luck with Trojan L-16s. I always opt for the -P, the
lowest amp hour version with handles. Lower capacity usually means more
electrolyte, fewer thicker plates and longer life. The high capacity is
great for floor scrubbers where more capacity means more work done
Hello all,
Report from my last visit and some generator forensics. The 240v
generator plug was wired for only one leg and terminated at another
plugbox on the wall of the shed. This other plugbox had basically
fried internally and when disassembled pretty much came apart,
carbonized
I have 2 customers with the old power centers sitting on the shelves, want
me to see if they will part with the charge controller? No guaranty, 1 says
he is going to move it to his camp and they're both pack rats
The better bet is the MPPT controller but keep in mind that the original
