Sanyo claims to have less performance loss that other brands at high
temp. The downsides are that they are expensive and the warranty is
20 years, rather than 25 as with Sharp.

...that last sentence of Ray's...what a fine additional factor to bring up:
Inherent current limitation because the battery just can't do more. I'm
going back to my charts!

Yo, Wrenchies~
Does anyone offer a sample PV module which would allow a cross-section view
of the laminate/metal frame?
I told my teacher friend that a laminated glass unit could not be sawed in
half without totally shattering the glass. I also told him that I would ask

Mick,
If you have a junk module, I'm fairly sure you can cut it up by using
a lapidary saw - the wet diamond slow-speed kind that gem and mineral
people use. I mean I'm sure you can cut it. Fairly sure it will not go
to pieces. I'm not sure there's much to be learned by looking at it,
The plastic modules are most promising. Glass has to be cut before it is
tempered. I fully expect that it will go to a bizillion pieces if even nicked
on the edge.

These are grid tie with battery backup systems. All inspected.
Personally, I think that we should have OCP on each series string, but that's a

they were handing out in Anaheim at the SEPA conference.
