You can put another glass front on top of the module to protect the cells and
wiring to get a few more years use from the module. My customer got 3 years of
use from a broken module in extreme Alaska weather. Other customers had similar
luck.

Simplest suggestion is to email Marv with your specific situation. I
did recently for a customer wanting to turn an off-grid array of
mismatched modules into GT; he told me my suggested approach would work
fine. This included pairs of 12V Astropower AP120s.
