Transfer delay of 30 is too long with sensitive electronics. This means that when the AC input drops to 110VAC the inverter waits 30 cycles before we disconnect from the genset. If the Ac transfer control is set to Grid instead of GEN then you would have to program these settings into the

[RE-wrenches] two VFX3524's and a Franklin 3hp sub pump

Hello offgrid Wrenches, I just inherited an off grid system with one VFX3524 inverter running the home loads, and a 17kW Guardian Generac they use for charging (through an X-240 back into the inverter) to run their Franklin 3hp 240 VAC well pump, S. F. max amp 17.0 ( rated on its controller)

I've run a 3 Hp pump on a pair of Outback inverters, but it's not a done deal. As the pumps age, they start getting stickier (read more start up current needed to get them going) and wells often have silt which builds up in the pipe and pump, adding to the start up surge. I recently had a

We designed and installed a few off grid systems out west about 10 years ago and found all the wells there drill halfway to China. Since here in Virginia most wells hit quality water at 30 feet, we know there was no way the single SW4048 could handle a 2 or 3 HP pump. So we installed a 300 gallon
