HI Drake
BE CAREFULL I had a battery set explode on me due to a loose connection, it
had been charging, and I was investagating and the loose connection sparked and
BANG I was fortunatle to have my goggles on. Besure to stop charging then
vent, then investiagate.
Also I do not think the w

A loose connection, if it was like I described, would tend to
under-charge the batteries. I would think that

You might consider using a gutter in lieu of the LB or a junction box if the
site conditions are conducive.

The lesson was that even if, say, for a 2 ½ conduit says three 350 MCMs
are OK, that doesnt mean that a 2 ½ LB I was planning on using is rated
for three 350s.
For the first time ever I saw printed in the LB itself the specified max
conduct size, in this case 4/0 for a 2 ½ LB.
So for t
Any way she can get a real voltmeter? the MX60 has voltage calibration, so
does the FX it sounds like something is over charging, perhaps the generator
run? additonal details on battery bank size, array size and typical load.

Drake,
I'd start by having her disconnect the temp sensor. If it has
failed, it can cause false voltage compensation.
However, if the MX60 is reading higher than actual, as your post
suggests, I would more expect it to regulate sooner, thus leading to
less water
Hello Wrenches,
I just got off the phone with an off grid system owner who has a
voltage discrepancy showing between the reading on her MX-60 and both
her Mate and Trimetric meter. The MX-60 shows 28.8 V and the
Trimetric and the Mate both show around 25 volts. The batteries are
