Hey Bill,
I purchase and use distilled H2O only. After learning the
battery charge and discharge chemical formula 22+ years ago
I decided that only distilled was going in my batteries.
Even one additional chemical, mineral, or metal and the
entire equation goes south.
I did have a
Hey Joel,
We have a couple of auto water systems in use that we
connect manually and it takes less than 5 minutes to water a
triple HUP 1690 amp hour-24vdc bank. Pretty sweet but doing
the SG is a bit of a hassle as you have to unscrew each cap.
I hear that there are auto water caps that have a
Dana,

I am still running a WaterMaster system on the HUPs 1690AH that I work with.
These fill caps have a little flip cover and narrow port through the cap so
you can get at the electrolyte without takiing the cap off the battery.
These have been very reliable fill

So it appears that the DA designation means bifacial module... You are
correct that not all HIP modules are bifacial. For example, the current

I'm wondering if anyone has been able to configure a CH meter breaker ( their
name for a
main service with meter and breakers) with a 200 amp main and 225 amp buss.
They make a 225 amp buss, but comes with a 225 amp main.
Reason is to allow a 10kW system without a tap, and since its a remodel
I have done this. I purchased a 225A all in one meter panel, and purchased
an identical 200A meter panel, and changed out the 225A main for a 200. Now
I have a useless 225A main breaker in my shop. But it worked well.

Hi Mike,
You were not able to buy just the breaker, you had to buy the whole load center
or just the breaker/buss?
thanks,

I decided to post the text of Sanyo's letter here as it lists specific

Jay,
I probably could've purchased just the main breaker, but didn't take the
time, I needed it in a hurry, and the whole assembly was easily found.

Thanks for the insight Dan,
hey if you are gonna get one for your camping trip, you might want to look into

Hello Dana,
Sounds like you've solved the sore back problem without over- or under-watering
cells.
I water and check electrolyte level every 2 to 6 months depending on the
battery bank's age and use (grid-tie float only, off-grid daily
charge/discharge, etc.). I encourage spot-checking
