This thread is a little stale, but I have an application to bring it back to life. Has anyone designed a solar powered go-kart? There is a high school challenge here sponsored by the local University. This seems like an application that could use a large array with a small battery to keep weight

Hi SHW Wrenches, We recently inspected a system that was installed by another installer a couple of years ago. At the top of the Rheem Solaraide tank (standard glass lined storage tank) they have a galvanized nipple going to a dielectric union for the cold water inlet. The galvanized nipple is
