White efflorescence, or glass disease, is also mentioned in a number of
installation manuals as a reason not to install modules horizontally.
Sounds pretty serious.

Kristopher,
This has been discussed on the list in years past. You may be able
to search the archives to find the thread.
Of course, others may have better solutions today.
Hope this helps.

We've used them before, just check the in-lb ratings of the connectors
you'll use them on. Ours went to 36in-lb, and for more, we just used
our torque wrench. I'm now using powered screw drivers with torque
settings, and then do a final check with the wrench.
I have a Klein I bought a few years ago. I can't recall the range, but you can
most likely look it up. Otherwise I can post the ranges when I get back to my
shop.

I bought sets of Felo drivers with all 3 Felo torque screwdriver handles to
cover everything from 1.5 - 5 NM. It took me some effort to find them all.
I also bought their insulated screwdriver set - really nice.

Ray,
One thing I didn't understand is how you can pair a 400 amp class-T fuse with a
4/0 cable. The 400 fuse curve looks like the continuous rating is 350A in the
graph supplied by Allan. Which is well above the 4/0 ampacity of 250A (copper).
Anyone want to explain?
thanks,
Troy Harvey
Kris,
I use a Mac (mechanic tools).
It ranges up to 88 in-lb.

Hi Troy;
Many moons ago, I looked at the curves as you did, and special ordered
some 350 amp T fuses, but then I quit making extra work for myself. In
a dead short, the 350 is really not going to blow that much faster,
while the 400 amp blows much faster than a lower rated breaker will trip.
