Friends:
Here is the update on this problem, in case anyone needs to know in the
future:
We reluctantly left the generator running all weekend, Monday morning we
fired the system up again. We had swapped which inverter was Master on
Friday, so Monday we swapped back to the preferred Maste
Jeremy,
Brian's response is right on - you need to supply more
information.

perhaps a jack pump, though replacing a foot valve could be a big job in
itself. There is the trick of drilling a small hole low on the pipe so while
pumping the volume far more than compensates, but leaves the pipe empty

Hi Jeremy,
PV-direct pumps operate at variable speeds depending on the amount of sunlight
and time of day, so a GPM figure is not very helpful in sizing the pump. It's
useful info if the water source will not produce more GPM, since you don't want
to over-pump the source, but it's not enough in
Hi all,
Any recommendations for a low flow, high lift pump, PV direct pump.
1 GPM @ 600 ft of head. Maybe a conventional pump on a timer?

Hi Wrenches – can anyone provide a recommendation or source for a weather
station that includes a solar radiation sensor and data logging or computer
connectivity? Also, are there any suppliers in the US that still carry 72-cell
24V modules in the 175W to 200W range? Thanks!

Thanks August. Keep us posted on your results. That’s one of the great

We've been using Solar Edge for quite a while now, very impressed. I like the
flexibility of design with out having to use micro inverters…..
