The modules are Sunwise 22 V, 40 W modules. The model number of the
modules is SW-S40P SWT. The are wired in series for a 24 V nominal
system. That would be an mppt voltage of 44 V on a system that
directs batteries to absorb at 29.4 volts. I'm not sure what the NOCT
voltage would be, but

Can anyone recommend a commercially available, ground mount array racking system
with an adjustment range of 30 to 90 degrees. Ideally this would be easily
accomplished by one person.
Here in Vermont, in winter, the 90 degree, vertical orientation can provide

I have used DPW/ DWP? top of pole in snow areas and as i recall they can go
close to 90 degrees. Any oole mount should be able to get close to that
number, you may also consider even extending the prop rod.

Thanks for your quick reply. Checked them out. They only go to 50 degrees and
require max. 66 high posts. Looks like radical modification of the recommended
post and foundations would be necessary for their product to work.

A relatively new pole mount racking manufacturer called MT Solar has a pole
mount that assembles on the ground and can tip to 90 degrees. It is an
innovative mount but not yet refined. It has a hand crank that one person
can adjust the array from the ground. They can be found here:

as pole mounts are mostly what i do.

Most pole mounts do not go to 90 deg. BTW. The pivot would need to
stick out South of the pole. We make specialty racks, and could build
something like this for you.
