Bill's point is well made, and equally relevant in heating dominated
regions. These typically are northern latitudes, where winter days
are shorter, and mountain regions, where severe winter weather keeps
people indoors, meaning more lights, more indoor activities and more

I see. Well then you need something heavy duty up there. I can heartily
recommend the DH tracker as it is built on the same technology as their
satellite trackers. I have installed quite a few of their satellite antenna
trackers in the 90’s. Well built. They are still using a picture of one of m
I have some up in that area and given winter angle, no issues. I have seen
some issues with cheaper modules getting water between the frame and glass
causing issues.

This was my first recommendation to the client, to avoid tracking. But they
really want a tracker (they're trying to keep up with their neighbors who have
one). My engineer steered me to GMI trackers and those look very robust but are
too pricey for this client.

Yes i do a lot of repairs but i will not install them, i prefer no
electronics and motor drives seems to be the failure point. Zomeworks has
none of this.

We have used zomeworks passive trackers in snow load, high wind and have
not had any issues, i have seen some that were over loaded and still they
have no issues.

Hello Eric,
With the low cost of PV solar modules, I would like to know why anyone would
choose to track the sun? It cost's much more and is a maintenance issue
compared to adding more PV modules to make up the difference. Tracking winter
gain is about 10% and summer about 40%. If there is no s
Given 310# snow load in the Sierras, what are some suggestions for a superior
pole-mounted tracking system? Right now I'm considering DHSolar, but I'm
unfamiliar with the product.
