I totally agree. One thing I’ve noticed at my house with two Outback VFX3524’s and a Kohler 12RES generator is when on inverter power the lights work fine but when on generator power they flicker. I’ve had the generator tech check it out multiple times with no fix. Thanks, Will From:

I have used Krinner ground screws, and combned them with Unirac. The screws work well in many soil types, but for a large project you would need an auger driver on a bobcat to ensure the screws go in completely vertical (they tilt if you are not careful). Chris On 12/22/2015 7:44 AM, Chris

I had a problem with one of the control boards on my front load dryer on my off grid Outback system. Seems that some type of surge fried the board. It was replaced and I added a whole house AC surge protector. I don’t know if the surge protector worked but I haven’t had any problems since.

(Sorry to hijack the thread). This pulsing (if that is what you are experiencing Will) has been true for the Outback as well as the old SW forever, apparently depending on the generator/inverter combination. It seems to happen the most when the batteries are being charged with high amps. Never

10+ now years on a Fisher Paykal top loader on Outback GTVFX, totally problem free but not the greatest rinsing machine, if you fill it up too much. It does do a good job of cleaning. Dana Orzel Great Solar Works,
