Aloha James, If you’re not already aware of this, note that inverters that are wired with 600+ volt DC circuits require greater security measures (clearance spaces AND protective fencing) if they’re accessible to non-trained personnel. I learned this the hard way last year while

Aloha Wrenches, I am building my first 1000v system here in Oahu. I have 2kv rated wire that was available on Island, what I do not have are the 1000v rated MC4 connectors. The jacket on this wire is huge! Doe anybody know where I can order these connectors that are rated and have a larger end

While I hope you are right. The fact that this is going on as long as it has, I’m not to sure. The answer to me is that since what ever it is, they can’t find, would be to give me/customer a reconditioned unit. I’m sure they got them. And they know that the board set in the one they are

Is everything feeding the inverter in good shape? Batteries healthy, all cabling tight and clean, all connections good, all grounds in place? You don't say what brand inverter but it sounds like whoever it is will work with you if they've gone to those lengths already. Tom On 2016-06-09

HI All, I’ve got an inverter issue that nobody can fix or figure out. Ok some background. small house, 24v system, 1500watt of PV, midnite CC. just some lights, entertainment system. no pumps, fridge etc. System worked for 4.5 years. About 6-8 weeks ago customer called and said inverter was

The connectder, I’ve just found, is not universal to all meter sockets. An older 100A Milbank socket, where a meter ring clamps the meter to the outside of the socket cover, will not work. If you try to clamp the connectder collar to the cover, then install the meter into the connectder, the

Hello Wrenches, I have a perplexing problem with a PVI 5200 and I can't get to the front of the tech support line at Solectria. The inverter has the usual backplate for mounting: bolt the backplate to the wall, lift the inverter, drop the slots on the back of the inverter onto the tabs on
