Most battery powered ‘torque’ settings change as the batteries are depleted. Do they say that this is not so for this model? -Glenn From: RE-wrenches [mailto:re-wrenches-boun...@lists.re-wrenches.org] On Behalf Of Kirk Herander Sent: Monday, November 28, 2016 12:39 PM To: 'RE-wrenches'

So far I have received excellent support from Jay at SIC. It looks like the owner has a replacement board that I am going to replace with SIC’s telephone support. Hopefully it is compatible, because replacement boards are NOT cheap apparently. Stephen, thanks for the lead on this support option.

FYI, everyone, as someone who looked to Jeff Randall for many, many years for high quality racking and custom battery boxes, I am happy to see he has reincarnated his old business, and named it Solar Rackworks. Here's a link to his new site. I am not an employee nor related in any way, just a

As I understand it, there are 4 buttons on the drill, each can be programmed to one of 10 torque levels through the app. And yes the torque levels are 1 – 10, not torque values. For example, tighten an L-foot to a scrap piece of rail at each torque increment, measuring after with a torque

Yeah, the Flexvolt system even has 120V tools. Unless you have some serious cutting or boring tasks, I can’t imagine needing these in my line of work. I’ve found the Milwaukee 12V series is surprisingly good for many tasks and super lightweight (nice on a roof). They even make a capable 12V hammer

Power stations use ground return. when we constructed power stations in my electrical years, we dug extensive trenches filled with copper conductors to provide the widest earthing system. In a three phase system, only the differential current returns to the power station. That means that there is

Seems like an unnecessary gimmick to me. That said, I switched to Milwaukee M12 for light tasks and M18 for heavy use and I’m very happy. They even make combo M12/M18 multi-charger. The M12 are super light and the M18 are very good. They also have a better selection for oddball tools. Perhaps the
