Like myself, I imagine many folks on this list were avid readers of "Home
Power" and "SolarPro" magazines. I know some of you were even active
contributors to these two wonderful publications.

When I did my cable swap and reconfiguration that fixed it I also was
more careful to route the xanbus cables away from the batter/inverter
cables - thinking that perhaps induction was the culprit. As I have an
rj45 crimp tool and some shielded CAT5e in the truck I think I'll just
make up my o
I tried swapping the cables for the XW and MPPT. After reboot the XW
continued to show up on the SCP but the MPPT did not. I didn't have another
cable, but this suggests the cable is not the problem. I didn't think to
change the order, however.

I tried all that. Totally disconnected everything, let it rest,
reconnected. Nothing.
How would I reset to factory defaults if it's not found in the SCP?

I would start with the easiest thing first. Since there is
not a device you cant see faults and warnings. disconnect xanbus at mppt.
power down (and disco HV input) for 30 seconds. Repower and see if the
warning light goes out? If mppt does not get found on SCP,
I would reset

Have you rebooted it?
I’ve found that usually unplugging and replugging and possibly turning the CC
on/off works.
