battery which is different enough I’ve been told they are not compatible. And

A bank of Aquion batteries has 5 out of 8 that can not carry any load
without dropping down to a couple of volts. One battery is leaking.
Three batteries seem to be working.
Has anyone experienced this before? Is massive failure common to Aquion
battery banks?

I purchased one of these about a decade ago to find rafters. It doesn’t work.
Irregularly, non-repeatable locations were given with each pass. I still
advocate sending someone into an attic to measure prior to drilling any holes.
That obviously doesn’t work on all roofs.

Tried, tested, doesn't do well. It works marginally on bare peel & stick
underlayments, but through shingles we had very poor results.
