I’ve already suggested that. However the house hasn’t finished final sign off
due to C19 and gross incompetence from the county process, so it’s not
possible, yet.
It’s entirely possible that at least part of the issue could be poor quality
GFCI or good quality and overly sensitive.
I second Dave's comment on trying different GFCIs. Definitely had some
that wouldn't work correctly with generator/ inverter systems. I'd take
2 or 3 other choices.
Otherwise your check list looks like the way to proceed. We always love
to hear back what you find.

Thanks all for the comments and ideas.
To recap, the reason I don’t think its in the wiring or loads is that
everything is normal no tripping if inverter bypass or inverters running
normally.
This says to me that it can’t be a loose neutral, or wires or some odd loads
etc.

One way to troubleshoot this is by elimination. The genset would be a
start. The GFCI itself. I have had to switch from the contractor grade GFCI
to a quality make in new construction.
